Giving a second life to steel mill residues
Conventional concrete relies on the use of cement, the production of which accounts for a significant share of global CO₂ emissions.
Isobloc Zéro replaces this traditional cement with steel mill residues. These steel by-products, instead of being buried, are integrated into the composition of the block using Carbicrete technology.
Each square meter made of Isobloc Zéro diverts about 43.75 kg of steel slag from
landfill.

Capturing carbon rather than emitting it
During its production, the Carbicrete concrete used in Isobloc Zéro chemically absorbs CO₂ to form solid carbonates.
