This decision is explained by the very structure of the product. Isobloc allows for the complete envelope of a building to be assembled in a single step. The interior finish in architectural concrete, R-25 insulation without thermal bridges, and the exterior finish are integrated into a single block of insulated masonry.
In practical terms, this means fewer successive steps, less coordination between trades, and smoother planning. On the ground, each transition between materials represents a potential risk. By integrating the components into a single system, these friction points are reduced.
